Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Band |
After years of playing front of small crowds in the country, the Grambling band got its first big break in 1964 when it performed at halftime during the American Football Leagues championship game in San Diego. THe "World Famed" Tiger band went on to be arguably the most popular HBCU Marching Band ever, with countless national and televised performances include Super Bowls, Presidential inaugurations and the nation’s bicentennial celebration in Washington D.C.
